What to expect from Enchanters on EZServer (2023):

Enchanters are a great class to have, both in terms of their ability to deal damage and with what they offer with their buffs to the rest of your characters. It's recommended to have at least one Enchanter in your boxing crew. While the Wizard is the master of spell damage, the Enchanter is not too far behind, especially if you also use it's pet that sometimes proc Deathtouch. Enchanters and caster spells in general received a solid bump in damage not too long ago (at least the late tier damage spells), making them relevant as damage dealers again.


Starting with their damage capabilities, you may want to start off by using the Enchanters pet. The Enchanters Epic Augment is used to summon a pet. This pet have a chance to cast Deathtouch which will do a lot of damage. The Insanity line of spells will be your go to spells for dealing damage in the later tiers. Once you get to Sleeper's Tomb you will want to gather resources to make Shylo's Bolt of Doom. June 2023: Insanity VI does more damage than Shylo in some situations. Be sure to check this yourself on a dummy.


Enchanters also have quite a few support spells in their arsenal which will greatly improve your experience on EZServer. The most important ones are Irrational Irritation, Masked Strength, Timeless: Haste and Timeless: Vampiric Thunder. Irrational Irritation should be put on your tank as it increases the aggro multiplier of the target. Masked Strength can now be mass group buffed and should be put on all other characters than your tank, as it decreases your aggro multiplier. As melee attack rounds are capped on EZServer to ~3 seconds, melee haste does nothing. However, spell haste works and Timeless: Haste will be very useful for the casters that have spells with cast time, i.e. the Wizard's nuke: Spell: Dimur's Glacial Gift


The spell Spell: Gift of Annihilation can further increase the spell damage and damage procs on the target it's cast on. It does require the Enchanter to stop doing damage and switch targets, so may or may not be worth the extra damage it gives the target. They are also one of four classes (along with Magician Beastlord and Necromancer) that can do the Summoner's Pack quest, which allows their pet to equip an Ultimate Weapon. The T3 Spell: Euphoria II (a mez) actually will give a brief twin cast buff to the caster, making any direct damage spell (Spell: Insanity, for example) twin cast. Not at all a bad idea to add this to your nuking setup. It does need to be recasted quite often, as it wears off after a twincast. There will be a DPS gain by cycling it in with late game nuke and wand clicks, so might be worth checking it out. It also throws a debuff called Spell: Deep Sleep on target that in theory should decrease the targets ability to hit with all skills by 15%.


June 2023: In general we have a lot of different spells and effects on EZServer. Some have been updated recently and some have not. While new spells and effects are added, they may have stacking issues with older content. As a general note, you should test stuff on the Practice Dummy yourself if you are unsure what gives you the best damage. Per June 2023 there are some issues you should be aware of involving Angryface Familiar, Mana Necklace, Brunaa's Two Toned Diamond Neckguard and Darkstone, Neckguard of Revenge. So what does this mean for you? If you have Angryface Familiar and use the buff, you don't need to get/use your Mana Necklace XII, as it will not improve your damage, rather just make it lower. However, if you have Brunaa's Two Toned Diamond Neckguard or Darkstone, Neckguard of Revenge, you should not use Angryface Familiar, as it will lower your potential spell damage.
