What to expect from Druids on EZServer (2023):
The Druid is a hybrid class and it's the only class except the original casters, Enchanter, Wizard, Magician and Necromancer that can get the Earring of the Mystic Ages, which will give a big increase in spell damage.
For the most part, Druids are used as healers. Spells like Breath of Nature from Halls of Honor and Timeless: Chlorobon from Abyss works quite well for keeping tank and group alive. They also get a spell called Skin of the Drake, which is a line of spells that, when cast on another player, makes them get healed every time they are attacked. Skin of the Drake was nerfed in early 2015, and is not as powerful as it has been in the past, but is still a beneficial buff to put on your tanking character up to a certain point. In later tiers, it's healing is negligible. The Hit Point Regeneration buff they get will also help the hit point upkeep of your group, as well as the Blessing of the Ancient Oak buffs which gives you a solid hit point bump.
Once your druid is attuned for Veeshan's Peak it gets some solid upgrades both in terms of DPS and healing. This fits well with Druids being a hybrid class. With the Spell: Fountain of Karana you can cast an area of effect rain healing spell that heals your entire raid in waves. This is a really strong spell that helps your paladins with the healing work. Since you can target a mob when using the healing spell, you can also add another strong ability to make the Druid do damage as well as healing the raid. The Idol of the Jailed is an item off Venril Sathir and it does some solid damage when you click it. Druids can wear the Earring of Mystic Ages, which will further increase that spell damage off the Idol.
Primary Uses
- Main use for Druids is healing. Your damage in the early tiers will not be great, but with the Epic click, combined with Werewolf form and some other AoE damage spells, you may have it do some damage. In Veeshan's Peak you can pick up Idol of the Jailed and that will give you a significant damage improvement.
- Breath of Nature from Halls of Honor, Timeless: Chlorobon from Abyss, Timeless: Chlorobon II from Temple of Veeshan and Fountain of Karana from Veeshan's Peak are the healing spells you should acquire for the Druid to do it's healing.
- Spell: Blessing of Ancient Oak line of buffs will give you a great boost to hit points.
- Spell: Skin of the Drake (Buff which heals the recipient every time they are attacked.
- Spell: Ancient: Druid Regeneration (6 minute group regeneration)
- Spell: Form of the Werewolf Werewolf self-only mitigation spell
- Spell: Focus of Healing increases healing.
- Ultimate Armor Leather Boots, MGB'able spell called Auspice of the Hunter. Will increase the overall damage and healing. Great spell to use on your raid.
