A Cleric is one of two "healer" classes that is essential for every group on EZServer (the other being Paladin). They heal slightly better than a Paladin in the early stages, since they have access to Spell: Amplify Healing (starting at Plane of Dragons), instead of Focus of Healing, but they are squishier than the Paladin. They are a good choice to put in your main group, and one of either Paladin or Cleric is essential to have in your main group.The Cleric is able to cast Armor of the Crab, a group HP buff, that stacks with all other group HP buffs Druid's Blessing of Oak Ancient Oak, and Shaman's Epic Effect. For this reason, it may be worth leveling up a cleric, even if you plan to use him just for the group buff. Their Tower of Vie III is currently the strongest tank mitigation in the high tiers. Taking your Warrior from 78% to 88% Stonewall is almost a 50% damage reduction for 18 seconds.
