While the Paladin may be the best class to use to keep your entire group alive effortlessly without worrying about their mana, the Cleric is by far the best class to use as support for keeping your tank alive. While the Cleric eventually also gets a good group heal spell in Veeshan's Peak, called Holy Cataclysm, the main healing spells to use are the various ranks of Over Raided Healing. The spell is single target, casts instantly and have no recast delay, making it a very good spell to keep the tank alive.
They also posess two other very useful abilities, making the Cleric class mandatory to use in a boxing army on EZServer. First off, the Clerics get the Spell: Tower of Vie spell, which is arguably the best spell in the game. The reason behind this is that it will increase the targets damage mitigation by a lot. There are three different ranks of the spell, where rank 3 offers the best mitigation. There is a bit over 2 minutes recast delay on each of the ranks, but you can use one after the other to increase your chances of survival.
Secondly, they have a very useful skill called Divine Aura which offers the target invulnerability for ~20 seconds, much like the Bard's Kazumi's Note of Preservation, only it's single target only, not MGB'able like the Bards. It can be used in many situations on the server, boss encounters and pulling to mention some.
The Cleric is able to cast Armor of the Crab, a group HP buff, that stacks with all other group HP buffs Druid's Blessing of Oak Ancient Oak, and Shaman's Epic Effect.
Primary Uses
- Single target healing your tank with Over Raided Healing
- Increasing your tank's mitigation with the Tower of Vie
- At later stages can work as a group healing using Spell: Holy Cataclysm from Veeshan's Peak
- Group HP Buff with Spell: Armor of the Crab
- Making a character invulnerable with the AA called Bestow Divine Aura which has a 5 minute recast delay. There is also one called Cascading Divine Aura which does the same, but it has a very long recast delay.
- Spell: Mark of Emperors is also a spell to be looked at as it can keep your tank healed when getting hit by mobs.
- Amplify Healing and Amplify Healing II are spells you need to pick up to improve your healing.
