What to expect from Wizards on EZServer (2023):
The Wizards as well as all the other caster classes has historically not really been a force to be reconed with on EZServer. In 2022 all the pure intelligence classes received a much needed boost in their damage output. At this point they are definitely all good choices to improve your overall damage. The Wizard is currently the top DPS spell damage class, closely followed by Enchanters and then the Magicians and Necromancers
June 2023: There is currently a stacking issue for casters on EZServer involving Angryface Familiar, Mana Necklace, Brunaa's Two Toned Diamond Neckguard and Darkstone, Neckguard of Revenge. So what does this mean for you? If you have Angryface Familiar and use the buff, then you are better off just using the T10 necklace. The other items will not improve your spell damage, rather, in some cases make it worse. However, if you do not own the Angryface Familiar then all 3 of the mentioned necklaces will give you a spell damage boost, just not as good as with the pet buff.

Primary Uses
- High single target spell damage
- Large range of self preservation spells such as spell damage absorbing spells
- Able to gather large amounts of mana through spells
- Teleportation masters through spells and AA skills such as Teleport Bind AA which teleports the entire group to the Wizard's Bind location
- Masters of Evacuation through spells and AA skills such as Exodus, a no mana, extremely fast, low cast time spell
- Master of the Manaburn which gives the Wizard the ability to use all his mana into one spell based on your current mana
- Casters in general are popular as CoH bots once you get Call of the Warband (Reward Item) or Call of the Companions (Reward Item). With their Spell: Bind Affinity you can bind anywhere, which can make corpse recovery or moving party to a certain boss or area quite efficient.
