Black Priest of Reanimation from Old Commons wielding a Sundrop
One of the bosses of Old Commons, he is tough primarily because of the adds that come with him. See the tips section below for more information.
Tips
- This boss is spawned by killing all of the ghouls and skeletons that attack the zone-in area at night. Once all ghouls and skeletons have been killed, the Black Priest will spawn several minutes later (random timer) by shouting "Died in the sun, reborn in the shade. Norrath shall be remade in my image!".
- Right when he spawns, he will be surrounded by Infected Eye, which nuke for 1 million each. The best strategy here is to single kill the eyes before engaging, or pull the Priest without the eyes. Once the priest hits 25% health, he will spawn several Vampire Bats. This can also be challenging, since the combination of the Priest and bats put out a high level of DPS. Either switch to killing the bats, or disengage and re-pull the Priest by himself.
