Magician

Magicians have relatively high pet damage, but a melee character with a strike augment can do more. In order for a Magician to do anywhere near good DPS, he needs to complete the mana necklace quest. This allows a caster to change hit points for mana, so that they can nuke more often. They are most well known for their ability to summon the group to them, but this ability is redundant with Call of the Companions (Reward Item). In short, you should not make a magician.
