What to expect from Rangers on EZServer (2023):
Rangers are not the most popular/used class on EZserver. Their damage is not great, sitting a bit below a Monks DPS output, but it's not terrible either if you compare them to other melee classes (except the Rogue). Rangers can use Ninjastrike augments, to boost their damage. Most players have their Ranger do melee damage with weapons where in the end tiers the most popular and highest wielding damage would be with Ultimate Long Sword XII in main hand and a Cratos, Blade Of The Orcish Plaguebringer from Sleeper's Tomb]] in off hand with Ninjastrike augments. The Ranger also gets a beneficial group spell called Howl of the Huntmaster, which will increase attack and double attack rates. In Airplane and Old Commons you can pick up self buff spells called Secrets Secret Ranger Secrets that will modify your damage.
There is also the option to use a Bow and do ranged damage, but currently it's not too viable if you want to min/max your damage output. If you fancy using a bow, you can choose it when you create your Ultimate Weapon by cycling the weapon to the Essence trader. There are some other bows spread out in the various tiers as well and the top bow would be Apocalypse off bosses in Veeshan's Peak. You would currently lose 3/4th of your total damage though, so no good reason really do use bows and not melee.

Primary Uses
- The Ranger is a damage dealer and does average damage overall compared to most other melee classes.
- Secrets Secret Ranger Secrets will improve your damage a bit.
- Howl of the Huntmaster, will increase attack and double attack rates of your group and can be mass group buffed.
- Bow is not really viable to use at the moment unless you want to sacrifice a lot of damage.
- The Discipline Warder's Wrath can be used to improve your damage in sticky situations.
- Ultimate Armor Bracer to add Masked Strength
- Retribution's Edge which has a click that adds Furious Discipline.
