Tips

Doing the Essence of Norrath quest is best done in instances. A Free Waypoint (Reward Item) will allow you to do this for free, but even if you don't have one of these, Summon Waypoint is available from the Newbie Vendor for free, and the instances for all of these zones are just 5,000 platinum each... Keep changing and/or repopping the instance until the proper named is up. The correct named will drop the ore 100% of the time
Fippy Darkpaw nukes for 2 million damage almost immediately, so if you cannot kill him instantly, or take that much damage, you need to bring two characters with you, one to sacrifice to Fippy, the other to kill and loot
Korucust (and his minions) charm, which makes his fight particularly challenging
Some of the bosses tend to fall underneath the world, so having a pet class handy is nice to be able to bring them back.
